Questions you might have

What if I forget my password?
When you create your vault you get a recovery code, shown only once — write it down and keep it somewhere safe. It lets you reset your password.
What if my cloud account gets hacked?
Whoever gets in finds only scrambled data. Your files are encrypted before they leave your device, and without your password they cannot be opened.
Does encryption make things slow?
No. Photos open instantly and videos play as they decrypt — you can skip a 4K video to any point without waiting.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for — no account, no email, no servers of ours. Open the app, set a password, done.
Technical details
Your master password derives a KEK via Argon2id. The KEK unwraps the Master Key; the Master Key unwraps one File Key per file. Changing your password rewraps only the outer layer — no file is ever re-encrypted.

You don't have to trust us

There is no account to create and no server of ours to trust. Your password never leaves your device — and even if someone got hold of everything in your cloud, without it all they would have is noise.
